Writing as an Act of Resistance: How We Can Use Words to Create Change

October 10, 2017 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Runs October 10, 17, & 24

This three-session course is for writers of any level or experience who want to use their fiction, non-fiction, or poetry to respond to current events, either to influence others or as a private practice to clear one’s mind and refresh beleaguered spirits. Whether you’re on the left, right, or middle of the political spectrum, this class will give you tools to convey your thoughts on politics on the page and, if desired, share them with others elegantly and persuasively.
